Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 July 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

ORB. (“ORB.”, “we”, “us”) operates orb.sg, an on-demand 3D printing service based in Singapore. These terms govern your use of the website, the instant quote tool, and any order you place. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms.

2. Quotes and orders

Quotes are generated automatically from the file you upload and the settings you choose (material, quantity, layer height, infill, and similar). A quote becomes a binding order only when payment is completed. Quotes expire when your cart clears (finished quotes after 2 hours, pending items after 24 hours) and prices may differ if you re-quote later.

We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if the file cannot be produced reliably, breaches clause 6, or the quote was affected by an obvious pricing or technical error.

3. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout by card or PayNow, processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. All prices are in Singapore dollars (SGD).

4. Production, turnaround, and fulfilment

Parts are produced with FDM 3D printing on our own machines using ORB.'s tuned profiles, and inspected before dispatch. Typical turnaround is 48 hours from payment for standard jobs; large or complex jobs can take longer. The rush option prioritises your job in the queue but is not a guaranteed delivery time.

Fulfilment is delivery within Singapore (fee shown at checkout) or free self-collection. The collection address is provided with your order confirmation; locker number and password are provided when your order is ready. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.

5. Quality guarantee, reprints, and refunds

Every part is checked for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and structural integrity against the settings you ordered. If a part has a manufacturing defect, we will reprint it free of charge or refund it. Report issues through the reprint / refund request on your order page, with photos, within 7 days of delivery or collection.

The guarantee does not cover:

  • design issues in the uploaded model (wrong dimensions, weak geometry, non-manifold meshes);
  • normal characteristics of FDM printing (visible layer lines, minor surface marks, seam placement);
  • unsuitability of a chosen material for your application;
  • damage from misuse after delivery.

Because every order is custom-manufactured to your file, we do not accept change-of-mind returns once production has started.

6. Your files and acceptable use

You keep all intellectual property rights in the files you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, slice, and print them solely to quote and fulfil your order. Your designs are kept confidential and are not shared, published, or reused (see the Privacy Policy).

You confirm you have the right to have the uploaded design produced, and that it is not a weapon or weapon component, does not infringe third-party rights, and is not otherwise illegal to manufacture or possess in Singapore. We may refuse any such order.

7. Accounts and ORB. Rewards

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Rewards points are earned on paid orders per the published rates, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be adjusted for refunded orders. We may amend or discontinue the rewards programme with reasonable notice; earned points will be honoured or redeemable for a reasonable period after any such change.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law. Otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Parts are produced to your design; you are responsible for validating fitness for your application, especially for load-bearing or safety-relevant uses.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies to new orders from its “last updated” date. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
